It's time to organize. With the arrival of storage boxes and shelving, we'll be organizing almost all the tools and supplies in the room all week.

SO MANY TOYS. . . . that we'll never get to use :(. These AWESOME tools came in for the solar knights club members. I guess it's cool that the rest of us are getting their hand-me-downs. Came with several handheld power tools, including drills, circular and jig-saws, and some accessories. Also, a brand new welding mask that adjusts the tint of the view-port to how bright it is. And finally, an air compressor. As for what we did this week, I learned how to use the circular buffer to clean pieces of metal from the bird cage. Fun week.

Looks like its time for more welding. I have no idea what the status of getting parts for SK2 is so we'll be learning some welding techniques from Jared's dad who a welder. Nice t ok be learning from a pro.

Learning about these batteries today. These are the batteries going into SK2. Jack has been designing a shelf to rest them in SK2. I really can't think of much else to do so I'm just gonna help Jack for the time being.

Well, it's crunch time.  Looks like we've ordered all the parts we need for sk2 to be rolling soon. Hopefully we'll be getting steering and wheels on soon. As for now, we'll be learning how to weld. I look forward to when I get a shot.

We're learning how to spool mig welding wire into the welder today. Sk2 is still missing required components, so we'll be learning how to weld, which sounds extremely fun. Looking forward to it!

Jared and I found something to do for SK2. Looks like it needed a new suspension setup. The old one was nonadjustable and extremely loose. Plus, we mounted the motor and the chain's about to go on. Again, everyone working on SK2 hopes the parts will be here soon. No idea what we'll be doing for the rest of the week.

We got the switch put in and set up on the cart. All it needs is to be hooked up to the batteries. Since we STILL don't have parts for SK2, we'll be continuing work on the go-kart. It needs a "gas" pedal and wiring for the motor to the batteries. Hopefully, sometime next week, we'll receive parts for SK2 and can continue working on it.
